Consistent Through All Events:

All RhodyCo events feature a consistent level of marketing and promotion. RhodyCo partners with a variety of media to have TV, radio and newspaper promotion in each event. All events are also marketed via: direct mail color entry brochures, event web sites, fitness magazine ads, and posters. Sponsor branding via bib numbers, t-shirts, banner signage, prize give-aways, promotional announcements, goodie bag stuffing and sampling are key features available to sponsors in all events.

All 'Major Sponsors' (limited to 3 per event) are featured with prominent logos, with marketing lines (or 'call to action') in all of the event media and on all promotional materials (i.e. logo on all participant t-shirts). See detailed sample, after the schedule, below.

'Retail Promo' (see below): RhodyCo has established chainwide supermarket in-store promotions (3 weeks each) for every event.

'Sampling' - this is the basic program, focused on on-site promotion, It includes sampling (from booth or via 'goodie bag stuffing'), banners and announcements, with pre-event promo in entry brochures and on the event web site.

Events: All of RhodyCo events share three major qualities:

1) Each one is a fundraiser for an important Bay Area charity.

2) All are high-sweat, fitness events.

3) All are high profile events produced by RhodyCo Productions.

History: RhodyCo Productions has been producing high-profile fitness events in Northern California since 1984. In that 23 year history RhodyCo has produced nearly 300 major events, involving over 1 million participants (amateur athletes), generating over $5 million for charity and billions of media impressions for sponsors.

CONSISTENT PROMOTION WITH EACH EVENT -- EXAMPLE:

The following promotional pieces are offered to major sponsors. In setting up a major level promotion, these elements will be incorporated into a strategy that includes the specifics of each media partner for each event.

Event Brochures: Major Sponsor logo -- featured in a boxed in panel (minimum 3" panel width x 3") in all event brochures. 30,000 to 60,000 color brochures per event, direct mailed and distributed via key retail locations.
Retail: Supermarket partner with each event provides in-store promotion.
Program: Major Sponsor logo -- featured in a boxed in panel (minimum 3" panel width x 3") in all event brochures.
Newspapers & Magazines: Major Sponsor logo featured in priority position, with a maximum of 3 other major sponsors, in all print ads.
Radio: Major Sponsor will be identified as the "official sponsor" in a minimum of 66% of all the radio spots for each event.
TV: Major Sponsor logo featured on-screen in the closing billboard shot of all :30 promos for each event.
Web Sites: Major Sponsor logo -- and marketing message -- to appear on each event's website, including 'rhodyco.com' and 'SFGate.com'. These can include link to Major Sponsor site.
T-Shirts: Major Sponsor logo on all event t-shirts* -- all participants and volunteers receive a t-shirt at each event.
Announcements: Major Sponsor will be promoted on-site at each event by professional event announcers (with scripted promotional lines provided by Major Sponsor) over PA announcements at the start, at the finish line and in the post-event staging areas.
Booth/Sampling:
Major Sponsor will be provided with a booth, including canopy tents, tables, etc. in each event's expo for participants with opportunities for Major Sponsor on-site promotion, including sampling, demonstrations, enter-to-win programs, etc.

Signage: RhodyCo will place Major Sponsor banners (20 per event, provided by Sponsor) at each event at the start, finish, post-race & stage.
'Goodie Bags': Major Sponsor literature (i.e. coupons) or product sample can be pre-stuffed into 'goodie bags' provided for each participant.
Mile Markers: Limited to one sponsor per event. The sponsor's custom 2 foot wide banner is mounted on top of RhodyCo's 8 foot mile markers. An exclusive signage position on 6 mile markers (min.) per event.
