Golden Gate Park, San Francisco.

History: 24th Annual

Highlights: The 24th annual Run Wild 5K/10K is a Thanksgiving weekend tradition where herds of costumed cows, chickens, squid, cavemen, and other characters compete side-by-side with serious athletes in a beautiful jaunt through Golden Gate Park. The race takes place on Sunday, November 30 at 8:30 am, beginning at JFK Drive and 8th Avenue.

All registered runners/walkers will receive the official race t-shirt with the event logo, free refreshments, and goodie bags.

Re-opening in the park in October 2008, the Academy with its' living roof will provides a stunning backdrop for the day's events.
