FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Must I register for this event?
Yes.

I registered for this event, but have not received anything back in the mail. What do I do?
If we received your  registration in time your bib number and race packet will be mailed back to  you.   If not, your number is held at the "Will Call, Packet Pick-up desk" next to registration on race morning. Please check under your last name for your number.  If you have questions about your registration or want to confirm we received it you can email info@rhodyco.com

I pre-registered, but can't make it to the event. Can I get a refund?
Sorry, entry fees are non-refundable. But you can still get your shirt (see below).

I pre-registered, but can't make it to the event. How can I get my shirt?
If you have a friend who will be attending the event, you can give them your bib # and they can pick your shirt up race day. If not . . .

Mail us your bib number, a note specifying what size shirt you'd like and a large *self-addressed stamped envelope -- include $3.50 postage (per shirt) and make sure the envelope is big enough for the T-shirt to fit inside.

*OR, instead of the self addressed stamped envelope, you can include a $5.00 check payable to RhodyCo and we will ship the shirt to the address you registered under.

PLEASE INDICATE WHAT SIZE YOU WOULD LIKE WHEN REQUESTING A T-SHIRT. We may run out of some sizes at the event, so we will give you the closest size to what you request.

How do I know what the course is going to be?
Click to see COURSE MAP. Also, participants who register in time will be sent a  "Race Instructions" pamphlet in their race packet. These always include a course map. All RhodyCo courses are well marked on race event day.

How do I get on your mailing list?
To get on our email list go to rhodyco.com and join the RhodyCo Email List.
If you’d like to  receive entry forms via snail mall you can email  info@rhodyco.com. Give us your name, address and the events for which you would like to be mailed forms.

Is my  entry fee tax deductible?
According to the IRS rules in most cases, NO. The individual must deduct the value of what he/she receives from the  entry fee. Given how inexpensive race entries are once you deduct the value of  what you receive, the amount you can write off is often non-existent! Don't worry however, the charities do make money, as sponsors help to underwrite the  costs.

Can I walk your race?
Yes – just be aware that our event day permits allow us to be set up on the street and at the post race area for a limited time only.

I can't run, but I believe in the cause and would like to get  involved.
You can send in a donation only and/or volunteer. Check out opportunities on our volunteer page.

Are baby joggers, pets or in line skates allowed on the course?
Dogs, in line skates and bikes are not allowed on any of our running race courses. If the course is conducive to strollers/joggers - and Run Wild For A Child is stroller/jogger friendly - you are welcome to bring your baby along in a jogging  stroller, BUT please start at the end of the pack to avoid the crowds.  If the course is not conducive to strollers/joggers it will be noted on the event website and the printed brochure.
